Certain cats are only available to players who had the game during a certain time period, as compensation for bug fixes. I find this effectively "grandfathered" me into keeping the game.
EVERY WEEK. ALL THE TIME.
Real money for Gems.
The entire purpose of the game is building your collection of virtual cats.
Game always has events running with short timespans.
The grind is infinite and unyielding.
Constantly being added to and constantly expanding for more premium bullshit.
Similar to Pokemon, the game is a collection game by nature. The goal is to collect every single cat, there would be no gameplay without the goal of collection. There does not seem to be a 100% completion award.
As events are *always* going on, it's easy to miss something if you take a break.
The game does show when other people in your club has gotten an item, gotten a cat, leveled up, or entered a contest. All seemingly positive, there doesn't seem to be any way to lose.
