obviously by nature uno has no end
constantly pushes you to invite people from Facebook. annoying if you don't have a Facebook because it doesn't give up.
you earn or lose coins based on whether you win or lose games. meaning your copy may have more or less value than someone else's. there's also many achievements and rewards you can earn which can be arbitrary or random.
they're also usually dumb and pushed unto you constantly.
you can't leave a round in the middle. if you pause for too long, an auto ai takes over. however, if this ai loses, you lose coins because of what an ai did. if the ai wins, you gain coins and get credit for an ai. auto mode is also pretty bad at the game, so unfairly losing, therefore losing in game currency (which is required to play in the first place) is very likely, encouraging you to continue to play until the timer is up.
if you run out of coins you have to wait hours to be able to play again, as you have to have at least 100 coins to play at all.
if you buy more coins, obviously you can have 100 coins and skip the coin replenishing timer. at least 100 coins are required to play.
certain items will expire, although the expiration date is very long.
this is something by nature in any uno game. trickery is kind of part of the strategy and this applies to the irl card game as well as any version. its still a component though.
there are way too many of these, often arbitrary or random.
