The entire game is based on fighting people to progress up arenas, and while i wouldn't fault the game for that as its the core concept, the game has no matchmaking system and puts you up against opponents who are leagues more powerful than you.
The whole shop is scattered with offers in varying prices, with some cheap options put next to or in-between expensive offers. Sometimes there's even offers that have 2 cost tags (obviously separated, though factored together) while only looking like they have one price tag.
The game has gems as a premium currency, and while you can get them for free from the boxes you win, they come in small quantities and the gems cost for anything is usually quite high. Theres also alternative currencies which are harder to get which can easily be obtained with money.
The game is disgustingly pay to win, with many offers giving you parts that are significantly stronger than regular ones you get for money, not even gems. The parts you get give you an advantage so significant over enemies you can pass through several arenas using parts bought from one arena.
The game has a referral system where you can get a lootbox with strong items for referring new players to the game.
The game always has offers based around events that provide huge benefits for paying players, along with timers placed all around them so you're never capable of forgetting when they expire.
The game has several in game times you need to wait for, such as for unlocking boxes, waiting for league tickets, new gang war opponents because the current ones are too strong, or for hero energy.
Every time you win in a quick battle, you get a lootbox (for free though, and without a fee to unlock) which always contains a random all-sortment of parts you cant possibly predict and only minorly influence (through crowns, which are obtained through win streaks and improve the value and power of parts by a single star)
The game lets you skip almost any timer using gems.
The whole game is a cycle of grinding for boxes for better parts for a chance to even win against people who use paid parts.
