It's very common for everyone to mistrust each other including their own guild members. There are instances where some members are actually alternate accounts made by enemy guilds to spy on their enemies
It definitely doesn't tell you it's pay to win. You're leveling up so eventually you can be as strong as them even if you're only playing for free, right?
Pvp. Specific events encourage attacking other players even when you normally could coexist.
Worse. Taking a break means your shield expires eventually. Which means all the resources you grinded for or worse, paid real money for are drained by other players in an attack. You miss the time your shield expires and it's all gone. At this point consider it a a very good opportunity to leave this toxic a** game.
I mean you get to be conqueror of the seven kingdoms. All the dialogs are centered around being the strongest conqueror. You get the bigger seats of power with bigger stat buffs the stronger you are
Capped inventory not necessarily paid for. But leveling up takes huge amounts of resources that increase per level (millions) that players who are too invested just end up paying for 'packs' to ger ahead quicker. once you level up, the amount you can store of resources also increases.
Attacking creatures give random materials to craft powerful items. Said materials are randomized and sometimes the event period isn't enough to completely craft an item. Simply because the material missing hasn't dropped yet and you refuse to pay real money to complete it (a full set that might be redundant of what you already have)
I guess in a way, if you're some of those who have paid to get the latest, strongest items.
200% in some cases. If a set of items are those that you still equip, you will not be able to count them to your completed collection. In this case you need to make a separate set specifically for storage. Adding to the collection gives an increase to your character's stats
There's leveling i guess. Visual cues for your in game token showing a bigger, fancier castle the higher up you are
