Recent Dark Pattern Reviews

Grinding reported on Sep 22, 2023
While the "grind" comes from playing the game, earning coins can be quite tedious. The player typically earns 5% of their score in coins once they crash. However, the player can earn double the coins by watching advertisements.
Advertisements reported on Sep 22, 2023
Advertisements only exist once the player crashes and are completely optional. Watching an ad will reward the player with double the coins they've earned. The player typically earns 5% of their score in coins once they crash - for example, scoring 700 points will only give the player 35 coins. This tempts the player into watching an advertisement since coins are given conservatively.
Infinite Treadmill reported on Sep 22, 2023
While the game has a finite amount of content (there are 24 cars and 6 areas), the gameplay itself is never-ending.
Pay Wall reported on Sep 22, 2023
There are three cars in the game that require the player to spend real world money to use. Two are $1.99, one is $4.99, meaning if you want to collect every car in the game, you must spend $8.97. While the $1.99 cars are comparable to the free cars, the $4.99 car is an absolute monster with the highest acceleration in the game and a decent top speed to boot.

Screenshot Throw your car sideways into the corners and prove your drifting skills. Work your way up, unlocking new cars and locations.

The longer, faster, and more extreme your drift, the more you score. Careful though, crash and you lose it all!
