Travelling between different locations feels like a bit of a grind, as you have to solve similar simple puzzles to get to various places before you can work on achieving your goals in those places. You can unlock a fast travel mechanic as you level up, but that costs coins.

The game encourages you to watch ads to earn useful things like hints and extra points. However, at least you're not forced to, and you can just keep answering no to those prompts and playing without any ads if you like.

There are certain activities you get limited time for and have to wait to then play again, and there's also a limit of experience you can gain before it starts telling you that you're "losing" experience by not waiting for it to fill back up again. However, you can just keep playing without getting extra experience if you want to ignore that.
