Some tasks are the so called - "Waiting tasks." After you reach a certain point in the task, you have to wait till tommorow to continue it.. Or you can spend some real life money to skip.

The only ways to get XP in the game is to either do tasks, or races. Both are really grindy methods. Races are more grindy tho, since you could do all the races available and still you wont level up. (I literally did all the daily races and still didnt level up)
