The last tiers of Power-ups can cost a very large number of coins; however, most unique Gadgets can be acquired with casual gameplay without any purchase, including some Gadgets that accelerate coin collection.
Gameplay is never interrupted by ads, which only play after the end of a run, or optionally for (minor) rewards. End-of-run advertisements are removed after any in-game purchase of $2.49 or more, leaving only optional ads.
