Recent Dark Pattern Reviews

Recurring Fee reported on May 25, 2022
An optional monthly fee of $6, which is highly worth it, especially for new players.
Artificial Scarcity reported on May 25, 2022
Both limited events and limited characters. They do re-run the events/characters frequently though, and allow lots of time to complete/obtain them.
Pay to Skip reported on May 25, 2022
You can do this, but it is entirely unnecessary.
Infinite Treadmill reported on May 25, 2022
There is often an end to content, but it encourages you to keep grinding to be ready for future content.
Daily Rewards reported on May 24, 2022
There are no daily streaks, but there is a monthly calendar of sign-in rewards which has better rewards the more days you sign in. Ex. If a month has 30 days and you sign in consistently for a week, miss one day, and sign in the day after, you'd always be one sign-in behind until the next month comes around.
Recurring Fee reported on Jul 8, 2021
There is a option to sign up for a monthly pack which is at a reasonable price for what you get.
Grinding reported on Jul 8, 2021
Anhilations are maps that often take 10+ minutes to clear for currency that can be used for rolls, though rolling is not needed to progress so this is more of a way to self-indulge.
Badges / Endowed Progress reported on Jul 8, 2021
There's a badge system in game that is purely aesthetic and serves more of a tracker of what you should do next instead of a way to show your prowess.
Pay to Skip reported on Jul 8, 2021
The game does have a option to spend one Originite Prime (Premium currency that can be earned through gameplay quite easily) to refill sanity (Energy), though this is often simply a waste with how much Sanity Refills the game gives you for free during events and casual play.
Reciprocity reported on Jul 8, 2021
There's a in game system where players can help each other out, but it's such a minor part of the game it can't affect anything out of it's own bubble.
