Integral to the game, you have to wait for products and materials to be produced, this ranges from a minute to several hours depending on what it is, you also need to wait for the return of some rewards and the following tasks
There are several places with leaderboards in the game, as well as timed event competitions between players and clubhouses, where the higher places receive better rewards.
There are regular timed events, however they do not offer unique rewards that you can't gain or again, nor do they impact the story
The bigger packs of the currencies are a "better deal" than the cheap ones, though it is not heavily advertised except a "best value" sign on one package option.
The games inventory is limited, and you need more and more to properly play. You can upgrade with items you slowly gather over time, but it gets more and more expensive and takes up the inventory space you need in the first place, so the easiest and most convenient way to expand is to pay with the premium currency.
There are some tasks that give variable items that you need for progression in some quests as well, and it is pretty clear you receive a higher number of some of them than others, despite being required all the same.
There is a bunch of collections of rare items and it's not necessarily clear when and how often you get these. There are rewards for the completetion, first unique decorative items, then on repetitions with a higher number of items extra items or premium currency.
There are many achievements with increasing levels. Many of them are based on level progression or number of items you can only get more of with higher levels, as well as increasingly long streaks for specific tasks that are only achievable by playing the game all the time.
You can help other players with orders they have asked for help with, as well as ask for and share ressources in a guild. While not required, you are made aware and rewarded for doing so.
There's an optional "Wizard's Boost" that gives you many positive effects, for different amounts of time. (1, 3 or 5 weeks.) It is not clear wether this is a one time purchase you have to manually refresh or a subscription without purchasing it.
