Daily Rewards.
Competition reported on Oct 1, 2022
The social hiearchy between rares and unrares.
Fear of Missing Out reported on Oct 1, 2022
Item worth changes every update, which happens every month. If you dont grind every day, you might lose an amazing trade or your item's value might drop significantly.
Aesthetic Manipulations reported on Oct 1, 2022
Making items cool so that you grind for them.
Encourages Anti-Social Behavior reported on Oct 1, 2022
Artificial scarcity is made to keep a specific demographic of people (children, teenagers and some adults) addicted to the game in hopes of them spending money on it. This type of game design can create a toxic hiearchy between rares and unrares, can encourage scamming, discrimination and hacking, which in consequence can be dentrimental to a minor's mental health.
Reciprocity reported on Oct 1, 2022
Trading is a mechanism in the game to worsen artificial scarcity and grinding. It forces children to grind so that they can reach the worth of the rigged economy to get the items that they want. It goes hand in hand with grinding and artificial scarcity.
Wait To Play reported on Oct 1, 2022
Paintballs (?) need atleast 30 minutes if I recall correctly to grow so that you can fight against phantoms, which leads to getting coins, then buying sapphire potions to trade for rare items - it all comes down to artificial scarcity and grinding.
Artificial Scarcity reported on Oct 1, 2022
Removing items from stores for years on end so that they become rare and valuable. The game manipulates children into grinding by making the cool items be gone forever, and the only way to gain those items is by following the rigged economy made by the players themselves.
Grinding reported on Oct 1, 2022
I remember playing this game last year. It was such an unfun experience. My goal was to get highest mystical spiked collar in AJPW, and I would grind every single day just to trade up and get that dream item. I lost a bunch of good trades, but I managed to reach a 2.5 forest boot worth in just 6 months. The minimum demand price for the myth spike was 15 forest. If I went with that pace, I would've gotten 15 boots in approx. 36 months, or 3 years .
Infinite Treadmill reported on Jun 3, 2022
Either you're doing pack runs (collect-a-thon minigame) to gain exp or you're waiting for a nature collectible to spawn and hope that you get a decent item to wear/trade.
