Initially, the player can check a punch card every day for rewards, but what day they decide to check in does not matter. After the first punch card, the mechanic changes to where certain rewards can only be obtained on certain days (ex. furniture can only be claimed on Sundays)
Aside from waiting for carrots to grow and watching advertisements, the player can earn Carrots by fishing, which becomes unexciting quickly.
The game does have advertisements, but the player can choose to reject watching them. That being said, watching advertisements are one of the few ways to reliably get Carrots (the game's main currency)
The game runs on a day and night cycle which corresponds to real life. During night time certain NPCs are unavailable, which includes NPCs who sell decorations.
The game has a small gacha where you can collect figurines. The game catalogues your collection and there is presumably an achievement for collecting them all.
Initially the player starts the game with 50 inventory slots, but an upgrade for 80 slots can be unlocked later on for free. To have infinite inventory space, the player must use real money.
