Food takes real time to cook, and you MUST return to take the food off the stove/oven once it is finished. If you don't return in time, the food spoils. So for example: if salad takes 15 real minutes to cook, you must return after it's done. If you forgot to play when it's finished and are 15 real minutes too late, the food spoils and your time waiting has been wasted. As a kid, I've had to schedule my life around the app so food doesn't spoil while I was in class or in an area without service.

You start off having to make food that takes short periods of time to cook (i.e. 15 real minutes) but expires in the same short amount of time. They also run out once served quickly too. So you constantly have to return to the app to prepare, serve, prepare, and serve more.

Among other real quests, you are also constantly given fake "quests" to download and play other, completely separate apps. You cannot close or remove these quests from your queue and they also have arbitrary countdown timers.
