Recent Dark Pattern Reviews

Daily Rewards reported on May 27, 2022
There are timed rewards and daily shop refreshes, but there's no punishment for missing them.
Grinding reported on May 27, 2022
It's an Idle Clicker, and has all the grinding associated with that type of game.
Infinite Treadmill reported on May 27, 2022
Again, it's an Idle Clicker. There's a theoretical end where you've completed every challenge and maxed everything out, but I don't think that there's a maximum stage. They also regularly add more content and events that make 100% completion harder to achieve.
Premium Currency reported on May 27, 2022
Just a standard premium gem currency.
Artificial Scarcity reported on May 27, 2022
There are "flash offers" which change on a set timer, along with a variety of time-sensitive events with unique rewards that come around once a year.
Wait To Play reported on May 27, 2022
There are several features which either refresh on an arbitrary timer or take an arbitrary amount of time to complete.
Gambling / Loot Boxes reported on May 27, 2022
The heroes level up through equipment, which can only be gained by opening loot crates. There are also loot crates for various other features.
Badges / Endowed Progress reported on May 27, 2022
There are badges for various random shit, along with achievements for slightly less random shit.

Screenshot Almost A Hero is an RPG clicker game where 16 of the most useless idiots embark on a quest to be slightly less useless idiots.

They say never give a loser an even chance. We say different.

A bunch of deeply unique and deeply flawed individuals have been chosen for greatness. Heroic, noble, enlightened... Just 3 of the many words they can’t spell. They will set off on an epic journey that will turn them from zeroes to almost heroes. Or dead people. More likely the latter.

Join these zeroes on a quest to become heroes in an ancient land. Train them to learn battle skills, magical powers and which end of a sword is the business end.

In Almost A Hero you’ll find quests, secrets to unlock and there's lots of clicking to do. Yup, it’s a clicker game. Have you nearly got what it takes to become almost a hero?
