Screenshot Highbrow - The Vinyl Age is the fourth edition of Highbrow.

Highbrow is different to those multiple-choice quizzes in which at least three-quarters of the answers are wrong. With Highbrow, all the answers are right - they're just in the wrong place. Your task is to put them in the right place using Highbrow's Pick & Switch gameplay. Dispensing with those wasteful wrong answers means you can learn something while playing Highbrow, not just test what you already know.

Highbrow - The Vinyl Age explores the world of popular music from the early 1950s, when Rock 'n' Roll first emerged as an identifiable genre, up to the mid-1980s when the Compact Disc finally overtook the vinyl LP as the preferred medium of sound reproduction.

Highbrow - The Vinyl Age is a little more light-hearted than earlier editions of Highbrow, but that doesn't mean it's easy. You'll need a great memory and an encyclopaedic knowledge of the subject.

We hope you enjoy playing, and we hope The Vinyl Age inspires you to pull out those old LPs and listen to those fabulous tracks all over again.
