OFFSET AND HIDDEN
Every game in Carolie‘s Cube starts with a certain number of cubes that are not in the right position. These are called offset and are worth 10 points each. If one of these cubes cannot be identified because its colored marks are all covered, another 10 points are added. For example, if a game starts with 15 offset cubes and 7 of them are hidden, the score is 15x10 + 7x10 = 220 points. One point is deducted for each move until all the cubes are back in their original positions. If the score is 0, a game is considered unsolved and will not be counted.
