Recent Dark Pattern Reviews

Daily Rewards reported on Mar 2, 2023
there's a daily level that gives you rewards when you complete it. there's also chuzzles that you have to check in on and feed every day in order to collect rewards from them, and you can collect coins from your finished achievements once a day
Grinding reported on Mar 2, 2023
"levels" are built of a map of minigames that get very repetitive very quickly
Advertisements reported on Mar 2, 2023
yes, but you can pay a flat fee to permanently get rid of advertisements (although there are still some available to watch for rewards)
Premium Currency reported on Mar 2, 2023
you can buy in game coins, but the game doesnt push it and the coins are easy to obtain through normal gameplay
Can't Pause or Save reported on Mar 2, 2023
i don't believe this is intentional, but there is no manual save feature or autosave indicator and if you close or leave the game suddenly it tends to lose level progress, which encourages you to finish minigames and click around for a bit to guarantee your progress isn't lost
Badges / Endowed Progress reported on Mar 2, 2023
the game has an achievement page that requires you to accomplish certain goals (such as popping chuzzles of one color across the board or completing a minigame under a certain amount of time), and achievements reward you daily with coins so it's beneficial to unlock as many as possible
Variable Rewards reported on Mar 2, 2023
there are spots on the level map that give you a random reward when reached, and completing the daily puzzle gives you a random prize
Aesthetic Manipulations reported on Mar 2, 2023
the chuzzles are used as minigame icons and when you fail one, it looks very sad. when youve failed 3 times, the other chuzzles on the map get angry. in the chuzzarium, if the chuzzles haven't been fed they hop around looking very sad
Competition reported on Mar 2, 2023
there is a daily puzzle with player ranking, and a one time achievement to unlock when you end the day in the top 100 players
